I am an artist living and working in Kent. I work mainly in water based oils on canvas. I work from life and photos to portray both the likeness and character of the animal or subject. It always gives me great pleasure to see the look on the owners face when they come to pick up the portrait.
I studied Graphic Design at Brighton University, gaining a BA Hons Degree. Whilst in the last stages of my degree I won the John Beazley Bursary Award which entitled me to six months work experience with Mitchell Beazley Book Publishers in London. I was offered a permanent design position at Mitchell Beazley and stayed with them for five years before moving to Reed Illustrated Books and onto Ryland, Peters and Small as an Art Director.
I am now married with four children and live in Chiddingstone, Kent working alongside my husband Chris running our own graphic design company, Ghost Design. During the last few years I have taken the opportunity to return to my passion: Painting.
Education - Between 19xx and 19yy (Never ask a lady ... 🙂 ) I gained an Art Foundation at Canterbury College of Art, followed by a BA Hons Degree at Brighton University
